'The Queen's Head'

The 'Queen's Head' at Machrihanish
so named for it's resemblance to  Queen Victoria if you had not already guessed :)

The Gauldrons

The View from High Lossit

The Gauldrons, One of the best kept secrets at Machrihanish - In the days when the Ugadale Hotel was thriving and the tourists were fighting for places on the beaches at Machrihanish, locals could be found enjoying peace and quiet here! Also a place where you can still see wild goats.

Davaar Island Cave Painting

This was painted in secret in a cave on Davaar Island in the 1800's by a local artist
called Archibald Mackinnon after he had a visionary dream.
