Campbeltown Whisky's

Whisky & Campbeltown...

Campbeltown is one of the few remaining areas in Scotland categorised as a whisky producing region, and is home to the famous Campbeltown Single Malts, at one point having 34 distilleries.

Campbeltown at one time even proclaimed itself "the whisky capital of the world".
For various reasons and with the passing of time many of the distilleries went out of business.

Andy Stewart's song... 'Campbeltown Loch, I wish you were whisky' is based on the Wee Toon's history.
